Entitled

Don't you hate when some people think that they are entitled to everything? It gets on my nerves. It's like they are entitled to everything you own, and they think they can just walk all over you. They think they can just use guilt trips to get you do something for them. I don't fall for the guilt trips. Just because someone does something for you, does that necessarily mean that you have to pay them back for the good deed they did? Shouldn't someone remind them that they chose to help, and the person who asked them to help wasn't trying to get payback for something. I hate that. I wonder, if anyone were to do that to them, what would they do. It would probably a flying argument of guilt trips thrown.

I have just found out today that I am not a very technology oriented person. I mean I can do most of the stuff you can do on a computer, but I can't install a printer I have no software for. This is really bugging me. I have an HP PSC 1350 and I can't for the life of me install it in my computer. I don't know where the CD-ROM software for it is. My father is going to look for it right now. I love technology and all the new things accomplished because of it, but now sometimes I can't deal with it. Back then my sister told me that they didn't have computers to do their work. The work was harder back then and yet they still got straight A's. Well most of the people anyway.

School Closings

Can someone please explain to me why in the world they close school because of about one inch of snow? The roads are not even that icy! I have had at least five snow days this year, and now my spring break is probably gone! People keep telling me that it doesn't matter because I still get the days off, but I want five consecutive days off! That way I can take a trip somewhere, and be there for a whole freaking week! But no, they don't know how to drive in the snow down here in the south. You see people speeding on the road like it's the Charlotte 500! Then they wonder why they spin off the road because of black ice. Instead of going 5 below the speed limit, they go 10 above like it's any normal day.
Now I have nothing to do, and I science project that is due in two weeks, and our teacher still has to tell us how to do it. I still have to read for Battle of the Books (I know I'm a nerd). But still, I get bored very easily, and the computer is the only thing that keeps my mind going.I'm stuck watching morning sitcoms and writing this blog post. Almost everywhere is closed in NC. And probably everywhere else that has snow for that matter. Why does California have to be so hot? And Florida. I wish I was in Florida, but I love New York even more. I like experiencing all four seasons, don't you?

Anyway....
Have you ever met anyone who wasn't officially diagnosed with Schizophrenia but you just think that they have it? I know a lot of people that are like that and quite frankly, it gets on my nerves so much. It's like literally one minute they're nice to you and the next minute they act like you are the worst thing that ever happened in their life. My goodness I get enough of it! Do you? Does it get on your nerves as much as it does on mine. I mean if they are not really seriously bipolar or Schizo, then why act that way? Are there drastic mood changes that just occur naturally, without having a mental disorder. I'm not trying to make fun of anyone who does have a mental disorder though.
Have you ever wondered why evolution is still classified as a theory and is not a proven fact? It is because it is not a fact, and Darwin doesn't know what in the world he was thinking. Does anyone even believe Darwin was right? If he was, where are the missing links between human and apes? And the missing links between everything he thought evolved out of thin air. I have an experiment that will disprove the very theory of evolution. Let's get some of the earth's gases, and some dirt, and some single celled organisms, put them somewhere solitary, like in a lone oxygenated room for about maybe 100 years. Let's see if anything evolved out of practically nothing. It is the weirdest theory I have ever heard, and they shouldn't teach it in school, because it's not even scientifically correct.

Okay... thoughts
Isn't saying something is good relative? I mean, you could say, "oh I read that book! It was so good!" That's relative, because someone else might think that same book was horrible. People think "good" is a general term, and that they can use it on anyone or anything, and mean it as a complement. Good does not mean a darn thing if, you don't tell what's good about it. Sure Transformers was a great movie! But who else thinks so? All adjectives except the concrete ones, are absolutely relative. has anyone else thought about this? When someone else tells you "that was great!" Don't you ever wonder what in the world was so great about it? Gotta go right now, but I'll write soon.

Thin's Always Been In?

Why is it that this society in the West puts so much on the opinion that if you're thin, you're automatically beautiful? Isn't that a relative term? Beautiful? People think skinny is normal, what would happen if curvy was the norm? Would everyone look down upon them? There is no double standard in this society when it comes to how you look. The influence always makes women have flat stomachs and be size zeroes, and men have chiseled muscles. This is definitely relative, because in India, not all celebrities are stick skinny. In fact, most aren't. They still look beautiful, and they're healthy. When did someone decide the ideal image? I don't know how else to write this, and I have so many different thoughts in my head, but I don't know how to put them into words on the computer, But do you get my point? It's all relative, and everyone makes it seem it's all it cracks up to be. Is it really so?

Why?

Why is it that when you come prepared, and someone else isn't, you become the supplier for them? My gosh! It is school! There is a reason the teachers give you a supply list at the beginning of the year, and then give you two weeks to get it all in! If you have a mechanical pencil, and need lead, wouldn't the most logical solution to that be to get more lead? Why do you not come prepared to the one place where it matters you be prepared? She needs to stop wasting my mother's money, and start buying her own darn lead! And her own paper. And pencils. And eraser. She usually asks for either lead, a pencil, an eraser, paper, or all of the above! I want to say no when she asks me, but in the south, it is not "customary" to not share every single thing you own. I'm tired of it! It's my mother and father's money that pays for my supplies, and when she uses them, she's just freeloading! I mean, once-in-a-while is okay to ask for stuff, like when you ran out suddenly. But when you're going to ask everyday, it gets really annoying. When I say no, she has the audacity to complain that I am mean and stingy. Yea, we're the best of friends (or so she claims).
But whatever... enough with that. I have so much stress, I don't know how to relieve it.
